Inside

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaking suspicion... love actually is all around. "

Sooo, how does waking up in a mansion surrounded by vineyards and cherry trees in the north of Italy sound to you?

We spent this past weekend at a friends' house in Dogliani, Italy.
My Saturday looked pretty much like this;
Breakfast at the market, go back home, make your way through the vineyards to find a little spot to read your italian vogue,  followed by a barbecue dinner at 10 pm.

Don't mistake my kindness for weakness

Zara t shirt ( miu miu, much? )

Forever 21 Leather skirt and tee

ChloĆ© vintage shirt and Forever 21 skirt

Funny how the day starts with coffee and mostly (in my cases) ends with 75 % black chocolate.
I skipped the first two lessons of school today in order to get 2 more hours of sleep. I literally couldn't stand the thought of waking up at 6 am so i thought i'd treat myself, and set my alarm for 8 am instead of 6 am ...
It's not gonna happen many more times, but this time i just needed a break from it all.

Friday 13th ;)

What would i do if it wasn't for the weekend..
This week i have managed to lose two of my best friends, embarrass myself publicly, actually understand a math formula, fail music class and half dislocate my shoulder.
Yes, that's how lovely and exciting this week has been.
And now, here i am, sitting in front of my computer, with only one feeling: relief!
Relief that it's friday night, that i came home from dinner racing my brother from the garage to the house door, that I was able to fight with my parents about make up, boys and all the awesome things that we now find incredibly annoying.. Yet those are the most valuable things in life,  the nights with the people you start, and end with, family. Even if sometimes it's a little incomplete, but that's imperfection! And imperfection is Perfection!

My brother and I punting with my Uncle Johnny, before visiting my cousin at
Cambridge University.
